    Woolwich Polytechnic School for Girls have an exciting new opportunity for a Director of Inclusion. This is a new multi-faceted role, that essentially has the aim that every child that is admitted to the school will be able to stay and reach their potential.  This will mean engaging students that are disaffected, Vulnerable or Pupil Premium and unable to access a full mainstream timetable.  The successful candidate will report directly to the Head Teacher.

We would like a teacher who believes in collaboration both for students and when working with colleagues.  The ideal candidate will be expected to contribute to extra-curricular activities within the department as well as the pastoral life of the school.

    We are looking for a teacher who has:

    • A genuine aptitude for teaching Geography, which is clearly demonstrated in the classroom
    • A proven record of delivering high-quality lessons resulting in excellent outcomes.
    • Ability to work within and add value to an already highly effective and motivated team.
    • The ability to develop and constantly modify exceptional practice in-line with a continually changing climate.
    • A desire to further raise overall achievement and success of Geography within the school.

    An exciting opportunity has become available at for a caring and poised individual to join our outstanding Sixth Form team as a Sixth Form Study Room Supervisor. The ideal applicant will have the ability to work with students, be proactive, confident in their approach and a supportive individual to ensure the student study area is monitored and maintained to the high standards and expectations of our Sixth Form.   

    The ideal candidate will be highly organised and able to supervise and support our Sixth Formers during their time at The Poly. The candidate will have a good standard of literacy and numeracy.  Whilst previous experience is not essential, we are keen to recruit someone who has experience in this role and will be confident, supportive and possess excellent interpersonal skills.

    Woolwich Polytechnic School for Boys are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Office Manager to join their friendly and dedicated office team, to provide efficient and effective support in managing the day-to-day running of the school office.

    The ideal candidate will be a competent administrator with strong interpersonal skills, be confident in their approach and demonstrate high levels of attention to detail. The role will require the ability to prioritise their workload and manage the administration team whilst co-ordinating the work of others to appropriate deadlines.

    All duties associated with this role will require the highest standards of professionalism in terms of manner, conduct and appearance. This role also demands high levels of literacy competency as all written communication must be in Standard English.

  • SCITT Teacher Training at Bannockburn

    Bannockburn Primary School works in conjunction with Teaching London: LDBS SCITT to recruit and train teachers on the School Direct programme leading to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE).

    What is School Direct?

    School Direct is a school-based route into teaching. As a School Direct trainee training with our school and our ITT provider, Teaching London, you’ll learn alongside inspiring, passionate teachers with outstanding pedagogical knowledge. You will be trained to become a successful, confident and effective teacher, and will be equipped to teach in a dynamic and vibrant primary school. You will undertake entirely ‘on the job’ teacher training, allowing you to gain the qualifications and practical skills required to become a teacher.
