Today we are celebrating National Governors Awareness Day - a moment to recognise the volunteers who give their time, expertise and compassion to strengthen our schools within PolyMAT.

Governors play a vital role in shaping strategic decisions, championing pupil wellbeing, and ensuring every child has the opportunity to thrive. Their work often happens behind the scenes, but its impact is felt in every classroom, every safeguarding conversation, every moment of support for staff and families.

This day is about shining a light on the people who ask thoughtful questions, offer challenge with care, and hold our values at the centre of every decision. Their commitment helps create safe, ambitious and inclusive environments where young people can grow with confidence.
