Primary School National Offer Day: Welcoming the Next Generation of Learners
Today marks Primary School National Offer Day, when families across England receive confirmation of their child’s Reception school place for September.
It is an important and celebratory moment for schools and communities, as families prepare to begin a new chapter in their child’s education.
Strong outcomes across Greenwich
Department for Education data shows that 72 per cent of pupils in Greenwich met the expected standard in reading, writing and maths combined, placing the borough well above the national average of 62 per cent and highlighting the strength of primary education locally.
Bannockburn Primary School: excited to welcome new families
Within this strong borough-wide context, Bannockburn Primary School, part of our trust, continues to perform well, with 73 per cent of pupils meeting the expected standard, exceeding the national average.
As Primary School National Offer Day is recognised today, we are particularly excited to welcome new families who will be joining Bannockburn Primary School. We look forward to supporting children as they begin their educational journey with us - building strong foundations for learning, curiosity and confidence from their very first days at school.
We are incredibly proud of the welcoming, inclusive community at Bannockburn and can’t wait to start this journey alongside our newest learners and their families in September.
